Showcasing Indigenous Business Partnerships

Project Overview

Elkplan had the privilege of providing graphic recording services for the 2022 Indigenous Partnerships Success Showcase (IPSS) in Vancouver.

Purpose

The Indigenous Partnership Success Showcase is an annual event that brings together business leaders to share successful examples of collaboration across various sectors, including land development, sustainable growth, telecommunications, and more.  Elkplan’s participation as a graphic recorder helped to bring the rich, story-filled discussions to life, ensuring that the key themes, challenges, and successes of the partnerships were captured in a visually engaging way. These visual records enhanced the learning experience for attendees and helped document the diverse range of topics covered, from transportation and real estate to environmental assessments and community building.

Outcomes

Throughout the event, Elkplan created graphic recordings of each session, capturing the inspiring stories and experiences shared by Indigenous speakers and creating a lasting visual record of the event’s key discussions.  Some of the graphic recordings were featured in the Rights and Respect 2023 Report, found here.

Impacts

Elkplan’s graphic recordings captured key lessons and success stories from the Indigenous Partnership Success Showcase, making them more memorable and accessible for attendees.
